Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Management Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the accounting for residential and commercial properties, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the ongoing accounting for residential and commercial properties, including recording, categorizing, and reviewing invoice documents.
  • Handle payments, debt collection, and account reconciliations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Issue rent invoices and manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Conduct payment runs and handle debt collection in coordination with the property manager.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, VAT returns, and yearend financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare operating and utility cost statements, verifying the chargeability of individual costs.
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone and email, providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
  • Completed commercial training, preferably in the real estate industry.
  • Professional experience in accounting for residential and commercial properties, as well as utility cost statements.
  • Reliable, independent, and structured way of working.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Ideal experience with common property management software.
