About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, AI Strategy and Innovation to join our team at Enovis. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating opportunities to apply AI technologies to improve efficiency and drive strategic advantage and differentiation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and functional leaders to identify opportunities where AI technologies can drive efficiency improvements and market differentiation.
  • Create business cases for identified AI initiatives, including financial, strategic, and risk considerations, to prioritize them and secure executive buy-in.
  • Develop a roadmap for prioritized AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with Enovis' long-term business goals and objectives.
  • Develop project plans for prioritized AI opportunities, and lead implementation using internal and external resources as appropriate.
  • Establish and manage relationships with external AI vendors and technology partners to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of AI initiatives and identify course-changes as appropriate for continuous improvement.
  • Provide training, education, and mentorship within Enovis to improve awareness of AI capabilities and opportunities and identify future opportunities for efficiency and differentiation.
  • Stay abreast of the latest AI technologies and trends, assessing their potential impact and applicability to our business needs.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in a large-scale global organization in a program management, general management, and/or process improvement capacity.
  • 2+ years of experience with AI and machine learning technologies, including leadership of successful AI initiatives.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks, relevant programming languages, and data analysis tools.
  • Thorough understanding of lean manufacturing methodologies and demonstrated experience identifying and driving creative and meaningful process improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate across organizational boundaries, achieve results through influence, and create engagement and followership.
  • Effective change management skills.
  • Ability to effectively influence, relate to, and communicate with at organizational levels from front-line employees to senior executives.

  • Analytical capabilities, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to think critically and work through complex problems and develop fact-based and data-driven solutions.

  • Demonstrated relationship-building, influencing, leadership, and project management skills, with experience in managing cross-functional teams and external partners.

  • Sense of urgency, with a high level of energy, commitment, resilience, and contagious enthusiasm, and the ability to make practical decisions based on available data.
