We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Staff Electrical Engineer. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI hardware products, ensuring their optimal performance in complex electromagnetic environments.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Staff Electrical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading EMI/EMC design efforts, focusing on grounding, shielding, transmission lines, filter design, and other related aspects.
  • Driving improvements in aircraft system desensitization.
  • Mentoring and guiding cross-functional teams to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and refining EMI test plans, procedures, and reports while identifying opportunities to enhance the resilience of our products.
  • Participating in design reviews and trade-off analyses to ensure compliance with EMI/EMC standards.
  • Identifying interference mechanisms and developing effective mitigation strategies that adhere to size, weight, and power constraints.
  • Enhancing design, testing, and compliance processes within the RF team.
  • Defining testing procedures and requirements, and providing training to ensure successful execution.
  • Proactively identifying areas for improvement in hardware development projects, proposing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.

Required Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in EMI/EMC.
  • Strong technical foundation and experience leading products through compliance certification.
  • Proficiency with software tools such as LTSpice.
  • Experience interpreting circuit schematics, PCB layouts, and engineering drawings.
  • A proven track record of cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Development, and Manufacturing.
  • A commitment to high standards, teamwork, and positive interactions with colleagues.
  • Demonstrated ownership of development processes and successful product delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will also have:

  • Experience with autonomous robotic systems.
  • A background in fast-paced environments, particularly in startup or R&D settings.
  • Adaptability and the ability to innovate under pressure.
