Job Title: Registered Dental Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Dental Assistant to join our team at Impact Oral Surgery - Bryant. As a key member of our oral surgery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care is provided to our patients.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in oral surgical procedures, preparing operatory, instruments and equipment for treatment, and providing clear post-op instructions to patients and their families. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare all treatment rooms in advance for each patient, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Change all chemical solutions, including disinfectant soaks and sprays, sterilants, and ultrasonic equipment, in a safe and timely manner.
  • Handle hazardous chemicals with care and attention to detail.
  • Seat patients in designated treatment rooms in a timely fashion, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment.
  • Review medical history, progress from previous visits, and scheduled treatment plans with each patient, providing clear and concise information.
  • Take x-rays prescribed by the provider, using state-of-the-art equipment and techniques.
  • Assist the doctor in all oral surgery procedures, passing instruments, aspirating intra-oral fluids, and mixing materials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn and grow.
Requirements:
  • Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant or Certified Dental Assistant in the state of employment.
  • DAANCE Certified (Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Examination) preferred, with a commitment to obtaining certification within one year of employment.
  • CPR/BLS certification required.
  • Trained by an accredited dental assistant school preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience assisting in oral surgery is a plus.
