The selected candidate will play a vital role within the Dental Service of the Central Arkansas Veterans Health Care System (CAVHS). The expectation is to deliver exceptional performance in patient care. Candidates who are in the process of fulfilling educational or licensure requirements may be considered for preliminary selection but must complete all criteria before final hiring.

1. Doctor of Dental Surgery or Dental Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
2. Completion of a residency in general dentistry or a specialty, or equivalent experience with medically complex patients.
3. Valid, unrestricted dental license in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States.

• Specialized experience in Endodontics
• Completion of an Endodontics Residency Program

• Ability to lift moderate weights, up to 45 pounds
• Light lifting capability, under 15 pounds
• Mobility including walking, standing, and kneeling
• Capacity for quick mental and physical coordination
• Correctable near and far vision
• Ability to differentiate colors and shades
• Hearing ability (aids may be permitted)

The Staff Endodontist will be responsible for:

• Delivering patient care that is empathetic, suitable, and effective.
• Exhibiting a solid understanding of biomedical, clinical, and social sciences.
• Applying scientific evidence and methodologies to enhance patient care.
• Collaborating with Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants, and Dental Lab Technicians.
• Conducting Endodontic surgical procedures and minor invasive interventions.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
