The selected candidate will play a vital role within the Central Arkansas Veterans Health Care System (CAVHS) Dental Service, expected to deliver exceptional performance in patient care. Candidates who are in the process of completing their educational or certification/licensure requirements may be considered for selection but will not be officially hired until all criteria are fulfilled.

1. Doctor of Dental Surgery or dental medicine degree from an accredited institution.
2. Completion of a residency in general practice or a specialty, or equivalent experience with medically compromised patients.
3. Possession of a current, unrestricted license to practice dentistry in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States.

• Experience in the Endodontics specialty.
• Completion of an Endodontics Residency Program.

• Ability to lift moderate weights, up to 45 pounds.
• Light lifting capability, under 15 pounds.
• Proficiency in walking, standing, and kneeling.
• Capacity for rapid mental and muscular coordination.
• Correctable near and far vision.
• Able to distinguish colors and shades.
• Hearing ability (hearing aids may be permitted).

The Staff Endodontist will be responsible for:

• Delivering patient care that is compassionate, appropriate, and effective.
• Exhibiting knowledge of biomedical, clinical, and social sciences.
• Utilizing scientific evidence and methodologies to enhance patient care.
• Collaborating with Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants, and Dental Lab Technicians.
• Conducting Endodontic surgical interventions and minor invasive procedures.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
