Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Business & Regional Avionics Customer Quality team as a Customer Quality Co-Op. This exciting opportunity will provide you with hands-on experience in quality management, working alongside experienced professionals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support production improvement and new product introduction projects
  • Conduct product failure analysis and corrective actions
  • Assist in managing and ensuring supplier quality
  • Help implement and maintain quality management systems
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing tools

What You Will Learn:

  • Analytical Problem Solving: Develop problem-solving skills using methods like 8D and root cause analysis
  • Supplier Quality Assurance: Gain knowledge of key aspects of managing supplier quality
  • New Product Development: Understand the phases and tools of new product development and launch
  • Quality Management Systems: Learn about standards and certification processes
  • Lean Manufacturing: Apply techniques like 5S and Value Stream Mapping

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status)
