Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our Customer Support team at Wärtsilä. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to internal and external customers during the installation, commissioning, and operation of our products throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and remote access
  • Analyze and troubleshoot reported issues, providing guidance and solutions to customers
  • Participate in the team's duty roster to ensure 24/7 technical support availability
  • Develop and maintain product documentation and knowledge base
  • Collaborate with technical experts and other teams to resolve complex issues
  • Partner with RMA to handle and technically approve warranty returns
  • Ensure compliance with quality management system requirements and HSE standards
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Maritime Engineering, or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in a marine navigational or IT technical support environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for customer service and ability to work independently
  • Result-oriented individual with good time management and organization skills
