Trinity Health of New England is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Cardiovascular team at St. Marys Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut.

This is an exciting full-time inpatient opportunity within a highly collaborative cardiovascular team. The selected candidate will work as an integral part of a comprehensive care team alongside cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, electrophysiologists, and nurses to:

  • Provide medical and surgical advanced practitioner support with assessments, procedures, and interventions.
  • Conduct follow-up consultations, develop discharge summaries, and provide transitional care management for congestive heart failure, acute coronary syndrome, and arrhythmia patients.
  • Demonstrate experience with acute myocardial infarction, intra-aortic balloon pump, impeller, postoperative bypass, and valve replacement procedures.
  • Be a collaborative professional who can work independently and provide excellent communication and who is driven to provide excellent patient care with respect and compassion.
