Job Summary

Catholic Charities is seeking a full-time Client Care Specialist to support behavioral health operations at our clinic locations. The successful candidate will manage client access to mental health and other treatment services, providing exceptional customer service and navigating electronic medical records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to internal and external clients, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment.
  • Assist clients in feeling comfortable and confident in a confidential manner.
  • Remain calm and composed in a high-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Manage client payment accounts and request payment of fees in a professional manner.
  • Collaborate with staff to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Triage potential client crises and connect with managerial/clinical staff as needed.
  • Translate services for Spanish-speaking clientele, promoting cultural sensitivity and understanding.
  • Oversee the client waiting area, ensuring safety, comfort, and confidentiality.
  • Process point of entry, intake information, and schedule services based on staff credentials and client needs.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including outgoing mail and mail sorting.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with specialized coursework in general office practices and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of basic math and ability to prepare written reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and the general public.
  • Spanish speaking required.
