About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Federal Business Development Leader to join our team at GHD Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and client goals in the US Federal Client Sector Plan, with a primary focus on the Eastern US.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business development plans to drive growth and client goals in the US Federal Client Sector Plan.
  • Lead business development, client engagement, client service management, and strategic marketing efforts.
  • Build and maintain high-value relationships with Federal clients.
  • Grow market share by partnering with other large and small business partners for Federal captures.
  • Implement short and long-term strategies to contribute to the growth and profitability of the organization.
  • Represent and promote GHD at networking events, professional and industrial associations, society meetings, conferences, and tradeshows.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in the Sector in a client development/account management role with US Federal Government.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Able and willing to travel to client offices as needed.
  • Bachelor and/or Masters degree from an accredited school in an engineering or related technical field (civil, structural, electrical or mechanical) including architecture). MBA is a plus.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License or Registered Architect (RA) License a plus.
