Executive Assistant to General Counsel

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to our General Counsel. This is a full-time, hourly position with a competitive hourly rate of $26.00-$30.00, subject to change based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a calendar for meetings, appointments, and travel
  • Screen communication, including mail, email, and telephone calls
  • Make travel arrangements
  • Provide administrative support
  • Review various contracts and agreements for compliance with Company policy and overall risk profile
  • Provide general litigation support as required
  • Prepare initial drafts of standard correspondence and agreements for review by supervisor
  • Perform legal research under supervision
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years experience required; 4+ years experience preferred
  • Two-year degree required; 4 year degree in Business, English or Pre-Law preferred
  • Knowledge of legal concepts, corporate and employment law
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Analytical and organizational skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to interact effectively and in a professional manner with diverse internal and external customers
  • Ability to exercise good judgment
  • Ability to maintain high degree of versatility and initiative
