The Position

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician I General to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for improving systems and equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting the operation of assigned processes.

Responsibilities
  • Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures in the performance of assigned duties
  • Support the development and establishment of maintenance procedures, maintenance plans, and spare parts lists for assigned processes
  • Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on assigned processes in a timely manner
  • Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical specifications, drawings, and other technical data sheets
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, night shifts, extended shifts, and/or weekends
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are correctly documented in SAP
  • Partner with process owners to actively improve performance and reliability of process equipment
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the maintenance team by training fellow technicians in areas of expertise and learning new systems
  • Use Systematic Problem Solving (SPS) tools to establish Root Cause Analysis and resolve equipment issues
  • Suggest practical changes or improvements to equipment and department work practices
  • Collaborate with Responsible Engineers and Manufacturing personnel to troubleshoot equipment problems
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a relevant field or equivalent military/industry training
  • 1-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledgeable in one or more Process Areas listed above
  • Experience with automated records systems such as SAP
  • Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical documents
  • Computer literacy
  • Experience in planning/organizing work, managing execution, checking results, and revising the work plan in accordance with the daily work plan
