Job Title: Electrical Engineer

BlueScope is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our BCP Maintenance team, you will be responsible for directing the design and installation of new or replacement electrical, mechanical, and automation equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the design and installation of new or replacement electrical, mechanical, and automation equipment.
  • Assist in the development of standards for reliability and guidelines for engineering and maintenance activities on said equipment.
  • Ensure engineering drawings and technical information are kept up to date for equipment identified.
  • Collaborate with other staff to provide plant-specific technical expertise to projects.
  • Perform daily maintenance activities on equipment and systems within the engineer's responsibility.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
  • 2 years of experience in an electrical engineering role or 2 years of industrial maintenance engineer experience.
  • Preferred: 5 years of industrial maintenance engineer experience, heavy manufacturing experience in the implementation of automation projects with successful cost and performance outcomes, and project management experience.
