Senior Principal Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Physical Sciences and Systems business unit in Cambridge, MA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and initiating advanced research and development projects, leveraging your expertise in analog and digital electronics circuit design.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop hardware solutions to analyze physical phenomena, including acoustics, optics, vibration, electro-magnetics, and more.
- Lead significant portions of large programs and coordinate efforts across multidisciplinary teams.
- Initiate proposals and make presentations to prospective customers, including those sponsored by the Department of Defense and other Federal Government agencies.
- Collaborate with world-class scientists and engineers to develop cutting-edge solutions for important problems.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 10+ years of experience in electronic circuit design and analysis, or Master's degree in electrical engineering and 7+ years of experience.
- Demonstrated ability to prove conceptual design and develop complete hardware design with verification via test and integration.
- Prior hardware engineering background in both digital and analog circuit design.
- Experience with circuit simulation and analysis using Spice, LT Spice, and MATLAB.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in analog sensor interface design utilizing ICP, CVLD, acoustic, and IR transducers.
- Experience in anti-aliasing and reconstruction filter design, A/D and D/A interfacing.
- Experience in low power electronics design for use in battery applications.
- Experience with schematic capture and board layout using tools such as ORCAD Capture and Cadence Allegro.
