Job Overview

Nanobiosym, a pioneering nanotechnology company in Cambridge, MA, is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing the electronics used in our medical devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electronic circuits and printed circuit boards for medical devices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design requirements are met
  • Develop and implement test plans to validate design performance
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production processes
  • Contribute to the development of design specifications, verification plans, and validation protocols
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical circuit design, test, and product development
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality designs under certified quality systems
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in software lifecycle management, electrical test equipment, and PCB development
  • Experience with medical device regulations, such as ISO 13485 and 21 CFR part 820
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with GUI development kits, simulation software, and programming languages like C, Java, and Verilog
  • Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, signal processing, and firmware design
