About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ad Manager to join our team. As an Ad Manager, you will be responsible for crafting consumer audience target segments and building optimized media plans using NBCU's ad optimization tool(s) and data assets.

You will work closely with internal and client teams to obtain and manage deliverables throughout the pre- and post-launch process, implement and launch campaigns according to client and internal requirements and goals, and measure initial campaign results and re-optimize periodically based on client and NBCU goals.

You will also provide analytics and measurement support from ad targeting through to impact/ROI analyses, handle intensive levels of back and forth communication with all key stakeholders to ensure successful activation, troubleshoot campaign and tool errors and performance issues, and contribute to the development of new ad targeting and measurement solutions by providing invaluable end user feedback to Product and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities
  1. Become expert user of NBCU's ad optimization tool(s) and data assets and leverage them to craft consumer audience target segments and build optimized media plans.
  2. Interface with internal and client teams to obtain and manage deliverables throughout the pre- and post-launch process.
  3. Implement and launch campaigns according to client and internal requirements and goals.
  4. Work with NBCU Inventory Planning and Pricing and Digital teams to obtain recommended inventory.
  5. Measure initial campaign results and re-optimize periodically based on client and NBCU goals.
  6. Provide analytics and measurement support from ad targeting through to impact/ROI analyses.
  7. Handle intensive levels of back and forth communication with all key stakeholders to ensure successful activation.
  8. Troubleshoot campaign and tool errors and performance issues.
  9. Contribute to the development of new ad targeting and measurement solutions by providing invaluable end user feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
  10. Keep abreast of the rapidly evolving technologies and trends in the TV and digital realms and build a thorough understanding of the media and advertising ecosystem and its key players.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

3+ years of professional experience in media, research, advertising or financial services or 1+ year experience in an Ad Targeting Platform.

Desired Characteristics:

  • TV and/or digital campaign management experience.
  • Familiarity with traditional TV measurement (Nielsen) and digital media math.
  • Ability to take ownership of open-ended problems and drive them to completion.
  • Customer service orientation (internal and external customers).
  • Experience working across multiple internal teams and functions.
  • Outstanding project management and time management skills; comfortable working under tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, positive and collaborative, outgoing, organized, efficient, team player and strategic thinker.
  • Solid understanding of the advertising landscape in terms of how data is leveraged and linked within and across platforms for both targeting and measurement purposes.
Additional Requirements

This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
