About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Construction Engineering Manager to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers and technicians, coordinating activities, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Coordinate and manage engineering tasks, including planning, execution, and coordination with other teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks, ensuring timely completion and meeting project objectives.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in managing teams and projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Strong technical skills, with experience in construction engineering and project management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
