Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled SAP Functional Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of SAP experts, assessing business processes, and implementing efficient SAP solutions to drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of SAP functional, configuration, and data experts to drive business process optimization and improvement.
  • Assess business processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement pragmatic and cost-effective SAP solutions to drive business growth.
  • Review and contribute to design documents, configuration documents, and functional specifications to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage end-to-end SAP change control and CCB approval process to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Ensure RCA is documented for each production incident to maintain a high level of quality and reliability.
  • Work closely with business leaders to optimize and streamline business processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to drive business growth.
  • Identify gaps in business processes and help prioritize improvements using Business Capability Matrix (BCM) to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage and facilitate business user sessions to gather requirements and process information, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
  • Ensure QA and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is done and documented before deploying changes in production to maintain a high level of quality and reliability.
  • Access user training requirements and ensure end users are getting appropriate training to ensure a smooth transition and minimize disruption.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of hands-on SAP ERP functional and configuration experience in product manufacturing industry.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, configuration, implementation, and optimization in the manufacturing industry.
  • 10+ years of business process design and documentation experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing functional, configuration, and development teams.
  • Must have 4+ full life cycle SAP implementations and optimization experience.
  • Require deep SAP configuration expertise and understanding in multiple SAP products/modules such as FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, IBP BTP, PLM, Ariba, DM.
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP applications integration and EDI.
  • Lead and facilitate business process design sessions.
  • Excellent skills in analyzing and implementing end-to-end complex business processes.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work independently with business heads and teams.
  • Able to work autonomously and consider cross-functional and upstream impacts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field.
  • SAP configuration certification in at least one module.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $160,000 - $190,000 depending on location and experience.
