Job Summary

We're seeking a highly experienced SAP Functional Manager to lead our team in designing, configuring, and optimizing our SAP S/4HANA, PLM, Ariba, IBP, BTP, SAC, and DM systems. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for assessing business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing pragmatic and cost-effective SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of SAP functional, configuration, and data experts to drive process improvements and system optimization.
  • Assess business processes and identify areas for improvement, developing and implementing effective SAP solutions.
  • Review and contribute to design documents, configuration documents, and functional specifications to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage the end-to-end SAP change control and CCB approval process to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Document root cause analysis (RCA) for each production incident to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with business leaders to optimize and streamline business processes, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Identify gaps in business processes and prioritize improvements using the Business Capability Matrix (BCM).
  • Facilitate business user sessions to gather requirements and process information, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensure quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT) are completed and documented before deploying changes in production.
  • Access user training requirements and ensure end-users receive appropriate training to maximize system adoption.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of hands-on SAP ERP functional and configuration experience in product manufacturing industry.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, configuration, implementation, and optimization in the manufacturing industry.
  • 10+ years of business process design and documentation experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing functional, configuration, and development teams.
  • Must have 4+ full life cycle SAP implementations and optimization experience.
  • Require deep SAP configuration expertise and understanding in multiple SAP products/modules such as FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, IBP BTP, PLM, Ariba, DM.
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP applications integration and EDI.
  • Lead and facilitate business process design sessions.
  • Excellent skills in analyzing and implementing end-to-end complex business processes.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work independently with business heads and teams.
  • Able to work autonomously and consider cross-functional and upstream impacts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field.
  • SAP configuration certification in at least one module.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $160,000 - $190,000 depending on location and experience.
