About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Regional Drinking Water Market Sector Leader to join our East Region Water Business Line. This senior-level position will be based in one of our offices in Atlanta, GA, Washington D.C., or Charlotte, NC.

As a Regional Drinking Water Market Sector Leader, you will be part of a senior core team responsible for business development and technical support activities in a defined major metropolitan or geographic area. You will work closely with the Global Water Market Sector Lead, East Region Business Line Leader, and other stakeholders to drive growth and innovation in the drinking water market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies and plans to anticipate opportunities and identify market trends in the drinking water market.
  • Provide technical leadership and direction on drinking water treatment projects, and support other projects in the Water Business unit.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, teaming partners, industry groups, and stakeholders in the drinking water market.
  • Develop and manage capture plans to support major pursuits and ensure alignment with the business development strategy and technical capabilities.
  • Collaborate with technical experts across the organization to support pursuits and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Manage and develop employees in accordance with AECOM's core values and performance management competencies.
  • Reinforce collaboration and team building, ensure client focus, and demonstrate commitment to excellence and innovation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree + 10 years of experience, including 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Extensive and proven knowledge of the municipal drinking water market.
  • Master's (MS) or Doctorate (PhD) in Engineering, Environmental, Civil, or Chemical preferred.
  • 20+ years of drinking water industry experience.
  • Well-known in the industry through AWWA and related industry organizations.
