Join Pure Storage as a Technical Program Manager

Pure Storage is a leader in the data storage industry, and we're looking for a talented Technical Program Manager to join our team. As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading our IT Go-To-Market (GTM) initiatives, with a specific focus on driving the successful implementation and management of our Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of the CPQ project, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving adoption across the organization.
  • Optimize the use of project resources to maximize productivity within defined constraints.
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables, implement best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Navigate unforeseen challenges, adapt methodologies as needed, and drive innovation within project execution.
  • Identify risks, develop robust mitigation strategies, and make critical decisions to keep projects on course.
  • Oversee all stages of the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business goals and optimizing processes.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and cross-functional teams, to gather requirements, communicate progress, and manage expectations.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of GTM projects.
  • Lead and empower project teams, delegate tasks, foster a collaborative environment, and mentor junior team members.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering a data-driven decision-making culture.
  • Apply Agile principles and best practices as an experienced Scrum Master managing multiple Scrum teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of program/project management experience with a proven track record in delivering complex, enterprise, or cross-functional projects.
  • 5+ years of experience managing IT projects, with at least 2 years focused on CPQ implementation or similar systems.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience as a Scrum Master managing multiple Scrum teams.
  • Preferred: SAFe certified, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
