Strategic Enterprise Leader

MCKESSON, a leading healthcare company, is seeking an experienced Senior Director, Enterprise Strategy to join its Corporate Strategy and Business Development (CSBD) department.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of prior strategy consulting or healthcare experience and be able to support enterprise leadership in planning, delivering, and implementing high-priority strategic projects.
About the RoleThis challenging and highly visible role requires a senior-level professional to lead projects related to market analysis, emerging industry trends, and the identification of strategic needs as it relates to building new and strengthening existing business endeavors.
- Define and manage multiple complex strategic projects with high-quality deliverables and detailed work plans.
- Create analytical frameworks and conduct complex business analyses.
- Develop robust, actionable insights to inform strategies, priorities, and key decisions.
- Manage relationships with key leaders and project stakeholders throughout the organization.
This individual contributor role reports directly to the Vice President, Enterprise Strategy and CSBD Operations.
In this position, you will:
- Stay updated on industry news, market research reports, and partner/competitor activities.
- Lead, influence, and reach consensus with or without formal authority or people management responsibilities.
- Partners with VP, Enterprise Strategy and CSBD Operations to drive the annual strategic planning process and supports other strategic updates to the C-suite and Board of Directors.
- Leverage presentations to develop a storyline and POV, while influencing and driving conviction that a given strategy makes sense among key MCKESSON executive leaders.
This role does not have direct reports.

- Healthcare knowledge and expertise.
- Strategic thinking skills, evaluating industry trends, developing long-term implications, and recommending pragmatic strategies for new business opportunities.
- Analytical rigor, bringing structure to ill-defined problems and intellectual leadership to problem solving; synthesizing insights from analysis and ensuring credible, actionable recommendations.
- Financial acumen, competency in financial analysis.
- Strong communications skills, ability to develop rapport and credibility across the organization, promote ideas and present complex information in an easy-to-understand, persuasive manner.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including an estimated base salary of $152,700 - $254,500 per year, depending on performance, experience, and skills. Additional benefits include regular job market evaluations and geographical adjustments.
