Job Description

Program Planning and Execution

As an Enterprise Program Director, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling multiple technology program initiatives across the organization.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop written plans, manage tasks, and track progress using agile principles and methodologies.

Communication and Stakeholder Management

A key aspect of this role is effective communication and stakeholder management.

You will regularly poll the program team for status updates, provide timely and accurate reports to business and IT management, and interact with stakeholders to ensure transparency and issue resolution.

Leadership and Accountability

This position requires strong leadership skills, including establishing a vision for the program team, relating it to achievable goals, and championing the objectives of the program sponsor.

You will also be responsible for ensuring accountability among team members, communicating expectations clearly, and escalating issues promptly.

Responsibilities

  • Develop program plans to minimize cost and implementation risks
  • Provide communication, documentation, and everyday management of programs
  • Initiate, plan, execute, monitor/control, and close programs
  • Perform quality assurance and risk management
  • Manage program budgets and scheduling estimation
  • Manage program team members
  • Engage with stakeholders and manage internal, external, and third-party relationships

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • 5 years minimum of leading programs in an enterprise PMO, with at least 2 years of experience leading multiple technology program initiatives
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing resources in a matrix organization
