  • Inventory Management: Assist the Bar Manager in managing the liquor and wine inventory, including ordering and stock control.
  • Cocktail Menu Development: Collaborate with the Bar Manager to develop and implement cocktail menus, including costing and sales strategies.
  • Staff Coaching and Training: Coach and train FOH Bar staff to ensure quality and timeliness of service, adhering to our high standards.
  • Bartending Duties: Perform all typical bartending duties, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive guest experience.
  • Customer Verification: Verify that customers are 21+ years of age, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Shift Management: Assist with shift movement, adhering to the bartender and culinary CBA.
  • Customer Complaint Resolution: Respond to customer complaints or concerns in a timely and effective manner, resolving issues promptly.
  • Employee Training and Development: Train and coach all employees on service standards and guest interactions, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Staff Sourcing and Training: Assist the Bar Manager in sourcing and training staff to best fit the bar's needs.
  • Training Programs and Performance Reviews: Assist in developing training programs, mentoring, scheduling, rewarding, and disciplining staff, as well as completing performance reviews.
  • Schedule Management: Monitor that all scheduled staff have reported to work and make schedule adjustments for proper coverage as needed.
  • Vendor Relationships: Build good relationships with vendors to help forecast efficiently and effectively.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Build good relationships with regulatory authorities, such as DOG, Health Inspector, and Liquor Enforcement.
  • Meetings and Special Projects: Attend frequent meetings with the Bar Manager and/or the Food & Beverage Director, performing other duties as needed and directed.
