Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Spa Receptionist to join our team at Chamonix Casino Hotel. As a key member of our spa team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring seamless operations, and maintaining a 4-star standard of excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and welcoming guest service, responding to phone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Accurately book, change, and cancel spa appointments, packages, and services, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
  • Check guests into our software system, ensuring accurate charging and billing.
  • Effectively handle customer complaints and escalations, reporting issues to management as needed.
  • Report issues and offer solutions to management regarding guest services and reception policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Actively educate guests on spa treatments, services, retail products, and promotional packages.
  • Communicate with spa leadership on issues involving staff, guests, or facility operations.
  • Navigate computers, spa software, and phone lines with proficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety standards, health standards, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Ensure guests are aware of and follow spa policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with the spa team to ensure smooth operations and a seamless guest experience.
  • Assist other spa staff as needed to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Uphold 4-star standards by delivering excellent customer service, maintaining positive relations with all guests and employees.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience working in customer service, preferably in a spa and luxury hospitality environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working as part of a team and having a friendly demeanor.
  • Demonstrated basic math and money handling skills.
Education and Experience

Preferred one (1) or more years of experience working in a spa or luxury hospitality environment.

Language Skills

Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.

Reasoning Ability

Decisions are limited to within the scope of essential duties.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Gaming License

Other Skills/Abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of spa services and treatments.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • High integrity and honesty.
  • Point of sale system proficiency.
Physical Demands

Essential duties involve performing physical exertion such as frequent brisk walking, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, crouching, and standing for a majority of the work shift with standard breaks.

Work Environment

Essential duties involve working in a spa and salon environment. Essential duties involve a flexible work week with additional hours occasionally required.

Materials and Equipment Directly Used

Includes use of general office supplies and equipment including computers, printers, calculators, pencils, etc.

Compensation and Benefits

$18.00+ per hour based on experience
