Position Summary
The Returns, Fraud, and Abuse division plays a crucial role in maintaining customer trust and ensuring the integrity of our business operations. We focus on effectively managing returns, minimizing fraud, and preventing policy abuse to create a secure shopping environment for our customers. Through detailed analysis and proactive strategies, we aim to uphold the highest standards of transparency and accountability.

As a Returns Insights Analyst, you will be pivotal in identifying opportunities and assessing performance within our Digital Checkout and Returns processes. Your insights will guide our efforts to reduce return rates, enhance efficiency, and improve the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support objectives related to return metrics, including overall and branded return rates, product-specific return rates, and regional return trends.
  • Analyze data to uncover insights and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement actionable solutions.
  • Establish alert systems to proactively address high-return items.
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops to identify and implement necessary improvements.
  • Develop and manage analytics and reporting frameworks to track key performance indicators related to returns.
  • Monitor and resolve ad-hoc issues affecting returns in collaboration with subject matter experts.
  • Assist in creating business cases to support strategic initiatives, working closely with finance and project management teams.
  • Utilize analytical tools such as PowerBI, Snowflake, and SQL to visualize data trends and performance metrics.
  • Lead process improvement projects employing methodologies like lean, six sigma, and DMAIC.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, product development, information systems, or a related field, with experience in digital retail preferred.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Snowflake.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in digital product management, digital transformation, or the retail sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including technical and analytics groups.
  • Experience in developing business cases with clear ROI for implementation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in an Agile environment, prioritizing effectively based on business needs.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to executive leadership.
