POSITION: Inside Sales Representative

About the role:

The Inside Sales Representative is a key member of our sales team, responsible for building strong relationships with customers and driving sales growth through exceptional service and product knowledge. As a representative of Polymershapes, you will consult with new and existing customers to understand their plastics needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and exceptional service
  • Generate quotes, process orders, and follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
  • Provide product information and recommendations to customers, leveraging your knowledge of plastics and industry trends
  • Identify opportunities for growth and work with the sales team to develop strategies for expansion
  • Collaborate with the office and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and efficient order processing
  • Work with the outside sales force to increase market share and drive sales growth
  • Assist with inventory management and provide input on product offerings and pricing

Requirements:

  • Strong business writing and verbal communication skills
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-selling environment with changing priorities
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in sales software
  • High level of honesty and integrity
  • High School Diploma or GED required; BA or BS Degree (Business, Sales, Marketing, etc.) or substantial equivalent business experience preferred
