Job Summary:

The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for managing the reception area, assisting potential clients with program inquiries, and performing initial refugee program eligibility assessments. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the reception area and ensure a welcoming environment for clients
  • Assist potential clients with program inquiries and provide general program information
  • Perform initial refugee program eligibility assessments and direct clients to appropriate programs
  • Place potential refugee clients in the group enrollment appointment sheet
  • Provide community resources and support to clients
  • Answer main line calls and distribute messages accordingly
  • Manage the general inbox and ensure timely responses to client inquiries
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or 2 years of experience in customer service or a reception/front desk role
  • Fluency in Spanish or Haitian Creole
  • Previous experience in a non-profit or government setting preferred
