Truck Maintenance Technician

This is a highly rewarding opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Shop Technician B to join our team at Republic Services. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on diesel and non-diesel equipment, including trucks, aircraft, and ships.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, including engine repair, transmission maintenance, and brake work.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues using electronic tools and troubleshooting techniques.
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles and equipment, including lift trucks and aerial lifts.
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience in a technician position with knowledge of diesel and non-diesel equipment diagnosis and repair.
- Ability to perform basic inspections with limited supervision in areas such as suspension and steering, general engine, transmissions, brakes, electrical, hydraulics, drive train, and diesel emissions.
