About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Actalent. As an EHS Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Develop and implement effective EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and minimize risks.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including air and water permit applications, regulatory reporting, and other EHS-related initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project scope, develop schedules, and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Technical Expertise: Apply technical knowledge and skills to EHS programs and systems, anticipating future business and EHS needs, and developing new skills as required.
  • Qualifications: A degree in the sciences with 0-2 years of experience in industry, or 3-4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
