Role Summary:
The Warehouse Material Specialist plays a crucial role within our Infectious Disease Developed Markets division located in Scarborough, Maine. This position involves executing shipping and receiving tasks across various departments while ensuring inventory accuracy through regular checks and counts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply materials to production areas while maintaining strict inventory controls.
- Exhibit a thorough understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Prepare and dispatch customer orders efficiently.
- Receive and manage incoming shipments.
- Oversee inventory management across all storage locations.
- Process material requests and deliver them to the relevant departments.
- Administer the cycle counting program.
- Ensure proper documentation for material disposal.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in warehouse and shipping zones.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient in operating hand trucks and similar equipment.
- Familiarity with inventory management software, order processing systems, and standard office applications.
