Position Summary: We are seeking an Accounting Manager to play a pivotal role in our financial operations. This position will report to the Senior Accounting Manager and will be instrumental in establishing operational goals while overseeing financial accounting and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the consolidation accounting process to ensure precise and timely month-end and quarter-end closures.
  • Act as the primary contact for the consolidation team, facilitating communication across all regions and providing accounting consultations.
  • Lead the Corporate Accounting team in conducting annual impairment assessments of Fixed Assets and quarterly reviews of financial disclosures.
  • Collaborate with SOX compliance and global accounting teams to maintain SOX controls related to consolidation processes.
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with finance peers and business partners to enhance understanding of the business and its impact on financial reporting.
  • Assist in the training and implementation of new accounting policies and guidance across various sites.
  • Build and maintain effective communication with FP&A, Investor Relations, Auditors, IT Finance, and external accounting service providers.
  • Lead special projects as directed by senior management.
  • Guide, motivate, and develop the Senior Accountant within the team.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) is preferred.
  • Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) is preferred.
