JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direct guidance of the Department Manager, the Team Associate is tasked with delivering exceptional customer service in alignment with company standards. Responsibilities include efficiently processing sales, managing cash register operations, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the store. Physical capabilities include lifting up to 50 lbs and the ability to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods.

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The responsibilities of a Team Associate encompass, but are not limited to:
  • Delivering top-tier customer service, including welcoming customers and addressing inquiries
  • Assisting customers at the checkout
  • Engaging in various departments within the store
  • Ensuring proper product rotation, freshness, and display according to established guidelines
  • Unloading deliveries and organizing the stockroom
  • Restocking assigned areas as necessary
  • Participating in the replenishment of all departments
  • Maintaining cleanliness of displays, mopping, and sweeping sales areas
  • Operating equipment such as pallet jacks and compactors
  • Assisting with additional tasks as assigned
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE/LICENSE REQUIRED:

Experience:

A minimum of six months in a retail environment is required.

Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to adhere to customer service protocols
  • Demonstrated customer service experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interaction with customers and colleagues
  • Capability to follow instructions effectively
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
Skills:

Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal (bilingual in English/Spanish is advantageous)

Strong problem-solving abilities.
