Team Introduction

The Assurance Services teams, focused on specific industries, provide high-quality audits and various services to both public and private middle-market companies, not-for-profit entities, and governmental organizations. Our offerings include internal audits, employee benefit plan audits, outsourced accounting, contract compliance, and sustainability audits.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervise team members during pre-audit planning and fieldwork for engagements, evaluating client accounting and operational processes.
  • Conduct internal control assessments and planning to support audit opinions, which includes preparing supporting documentation, performing analytical reviews of account balances, and drafting financial statements.
  • Investigate technical issues that arise throughout audit engagements.
  • Draft audit reports for management's review.
  • Support Seniors, Managers, and Partners in developing risk assessments, audit program plans, and internal audit reports.

Qualifications :

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience is necessary.
  • Previous experience in a public accounting firm is preferred.
  • CPA certification is preferred; if not a CPA, candidates must meet educational requirements to obtain CPA licensure upon hire in their state of employment.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and research abilities are required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly motivated individuals who take initiative for their professional growth and development are encouraged.
  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills are required.
  • Ability to follow directions and exercise sound judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations, which may include occasional overnight stays.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

Compensation Range: Compensation ranges may vary based on internal equity, knowledge, experience, skillset, and geographic location among other factors.
