About the Role:
Spectra Experiences is seeking a highly skilled Catering Chef to oversee and participate in the preparation and cooking of food items, ensuring high standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for coordinating the setup of catering venues, including the arrangement of food stations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our clients and their guests
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of ingredients and equipment
- Manage kitchen staff and ensure that all food safety and sanitation protocols are followed
- Collaborate with event planners to create customized catering solutions for corporate events, weddings, and other functions
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all food meets our high standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or food service industry
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation protocols
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
