Role Summary:

The Corporate Communications Specialist, under the guidance of the Associate Manager of Internal Communications, will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of corporate messaging. This position requires collaboration with various departments and levels within the organization to advance corporate communication strategies and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with essential business units to produce impactful communication materials that align with Heaven Hill's corporate strategy and brand identity.
  • Establish strong partnerships with subject matter experts to design and execute internal communication campaigns aimed at employees.
  • Build rapport with executives and staff to curate strategic content for Heaven Hill Brands' social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X.
  • Generate and distribute written and video content across Heaven Hill's Intranet, corporate website, digital signage, and various email communication channels.
  • Contribute to the organization of the corporate communication master calendar.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure consistency in communication tone, messaging, and channels.
  • Assist the Associate Manager of Internal Communications and the Communications team with strategic initiatives and communication programs.
  • Manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Maintain organized records of internal communications and social media content.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Marketing.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, including internal communications, social media, public relations, or journalism. Professional experience is preferred, but relevant internships are acceptable.
  • Outstanding writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic skills in digital design are preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage executive relationships effectively.
  • Familiarity with media production and communication techniques, including various methods to inform and engage through written, oral, and visual media.
  • Understanding of administrative procedures and systems, including file management and office protocols.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and desktop publishing software.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SharePoint.
  • Social media management skills.
  • Experience in digital design, particularly with Canva.
  • Familiarity with email marketing software such as Mailchimp.
  • Knowledge of digital signage platforms.
  • Experience with various internet applications.

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing job duties, the employee may be required to stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to handle materials and operate a computer. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 10 pounds.
