In this position, you will collaborate with various teams across accounting, finance, and operations to facilitate the monthly closing process. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting our operations team in the effective execution of corporate strategies.
  • Preparing and recording general journal entries while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Addressing accounting and financial inquiries through thorough research and data interpretation.
  • Enhancing and implementing accounting practices by evaluating existing procedures and suggesting improvements.
  • Generating and reviewing accrual-based financial statements, conducting trend analyses and budget variance assessments.
  • Maintaining comprehensive reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts, including bank reconciliations.
  • Engaging in special projects as required.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with management and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • A detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and clarity.

Qualifications for this role include:
