We are currently in search of a Licensed Land Survey Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

This role encompasses a range of technical responsibilities associated with land surveying. The successful candidate will leverage contemporary technology, surveying expertise, and relevant experience to oversee diverse survey tasks linked to land surveys that support the planning, design, and execution of infrastructure projects, including roads, structures, geotechnical assessments, flood control initiatives, stormwater management, recreational areas, land development, and other engineering ventures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead survey projects while maintaining effective communication with clients.
  • Supervise multiple survey teams and provide essential technical guidance.
  • Independently conduct complex tasks such as compiling deed mosaics and reviewing right-of-way plans, ALTA Surveys, easement documents, and construction layout.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines efficiently.
  • Ensure adherence to all corporate quality assurance and quality control standards.
  • Identify new business opportunities and demonstrate strong technical writing skills.
  • Make recommendations for the recruitment of survey personnel.

Qualifications:

To excel in this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience in land surveying.
  • Surveyor-in-Training (SIT) certification required; Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license or the ability to obtain it within a year is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Candidates should possess a positive demeanor, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience with Civil3D, MicroStation, and Carlson Survey is advantageous.
  • Project management experience is a plus.

Compensation:
Salary range: $110,000 - $130,000.

This position is subject to pre-employment drug screening and background verification.
