Position Overview:

This role encompasses a range of technical responsibilities associated with land surveying. The successful candidate will leverage modern technology, survey expertise, and relevant experience to take charge of various survey initiatives linked to land surveys utilized in the planning, design, and construction of infrastructure projects, including roads, structures, geotechnical assessments, flood control systems, stormwater management, recreational facilities, land development, subdivisions, and other engineering endeavors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directs survey projects while maintaining effective communication with clients.
  • Supervises multiple survey teams and office personnel, providing essential technical guidance.
  • Independently executes a variety of intricate tasks, including the compilation of deed mosaics and the evaluation of right-of-way plans, ALTA Surveys, easement plats, and construction stakeout.
  • Oversees project budgets and timelines to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Guarantees adherence to all corporate quality assurance and quality control standards.
  • Identifies new business opportunities and demonstrates strong technical writing skills.
  • Recommends hiring of survey personnel and related staff.
Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

To excel in this position, candidates must successfully fulfill each essential duty outlined above. The following qualifications are indicative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Candidates should demonstrate a positive demeanor, possess excellent communication skills, and work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with Civil3D, MicroStation, and Carlson Survey is preferred.
  • Experience in project management is advantageous.
