Aspire Health Alliance is on the lookout for a committed ACCS Recovery Support Specialist to become a vital part of our Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) team. This role, under the guidance of the ACCS Assistant Director, is essential in delivering holistic case management and clinical assistance to adults grappling with serious mental health challenges.
The Recovery Support Specialist will work closely with licensed professionals to create and execute personalized recovery-oriented service plans, ensuring they are adapted to the changing needs of our clients. A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for client transportation are necessary for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual supportive therapy and manage symptoms effectively.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Document client progress meticulously and review progress notes regularly.
- Participate in the formulation of behavioral support plans.
- Communicate with guardians, family members, and other healthcare providers to coordinate schedules and services.
- Assist in client intake and assessment processes.
- Explore opportunities for community participation for individuals.

- A minimum of 2 years' experience working with individuals with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI).
- Familiarity with psychiatric recovery principles.
- Experience in case management and coordination of individual treatment teams.
- Experience in substance use treatment services is a plus.
- Experience in developing individual behavioral support plans.
- Experience in client intake and assessment processes.
- Experience in community-based mental health services.
