Position Overview:
Soliant Education is actively searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic Exceptional Needs Educator to become a part of our team. This full-time, onsite role focuses on supporting a classroom of 6th-grade students. We are looking for individuals who are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute personalized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique requirements of each student.
- Deliver specialized instruction in both small group and individual settings to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with general education instructors, school personnel, and families to promote student achievement.
- Track and assess student progress, making necessary adjustments to teaching strategies.
- Establish a welcoming and nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages growth and learning for all students.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related discipline.
