The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Distributed Organizing Director to join our National Distributed Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a distributed calling and texting program, leveraging targeted time-zone volunteers to engage with voters and recruit volunteers across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for building a large voter contact and recruitment organization, utilizing text and call tools to engage with voters and recruit volunteers.
  • Supervise a team of distributed organizers, providing coaching and guidance to ensure they meet ambitious voter contact goals and recruit volunteers effectively.
  • Design and implement a streamlined system for managing phone call and text campaigns, ensuring high-energy and high-output phone banks and text banks.
  • Maintain and execute against rigorous and efficient volunteer systems, including question-answer support, volunteer onboarding, trainings, and daily recruitment.
  • Develop a clear volunteer experience from onboarding to leadership, and manage a team to recruit, cultivate, and escalate volunteers at every level of engagement.
Qualifications:
  • 2 cycles of experience as an organizer or digital organizer, with at least 1 cycle of management experience of a team of 4+ entry-level staff.
  • Clear experience building systems and structures for staff and volunteers.
  • Strong proficiency with organizing tools such as Mobilize America and VAN.
  • Experience working with predictive dialer tools and texting tools.
  • Familiarity with Slack, Zoom (or equivalent), Google Drive.
  • Strong virtual management, communication, and writing skills.
  • Able to manage staff and volunteer programs across time zones.
  • Ready and prepared to work in a fast-paced environment and willing to be flexible with responsibilities over time.

Salary: The salary for this position is $78,000, on an annualized basis. This is a full-time position that may require work on weekends and has an end date of November 15, 2024. This is an exempt position.
