Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic - 2nd Shift Specialist to join our team at Elliott Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient reassembly and dismantling of rotating equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promotes Safety and Quality: Ensures a safe working environment and maintains high-quality work standards.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Works effectively in a team environment, maintaining open communication with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Maintains a clean and organized work area, adhering to company standards.
  • Technical Skills: Possesses a basic understanding of tooling, drawings, work scopes, procedures, specifications, and documentation.
  • Learning and Development: Demonstrates a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
  • Operational Skills: Operates forklifts and cranes safely and efficiently.
  • Measurement and Documentation: Accurately measures and records dimensional inspections, meeting annual testing requirements.
  • Documentation and Communication: Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience with rotating turbo machinery and rigging.
