Lead Mechanical Designer for Medical Device Innovation

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Designer to join our team at Entegee. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will play a critical role in developing and managing mechanical designs and documentation for novel and complex medical devices.
About the Role
- Collaborate with our cross-functional teams to capture design outputs for cutting-edge medical devices.
- Develop and maintain accurate 3D CAD models of complex medical device systems.
- Generate and manage fabrication drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Develop and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensure accurate document control within our Quality Management System (QMS).
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and drafting of machined, casted, sheet metal, and/or plastic molded components.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks for complex 3D modeling and drafting.
- Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) according to ASME Y14.5 standards.
- Experience generating and managing BOM structures, Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), and documentation through a QMS.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with mechanical design for medical devices.
- Familiarity with creating and managing cable drawings.
Compensation
$35.00 to $45.00 per hour. Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
