Job Overview

Care Dynamics, LLC is seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cambridge, MA.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $83,200 per year, based on a competitive pay rate of $41 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves collaborating with Engineering and Quality teams to translate design concepts into precise CAD documentation.

  • Developing and Managing 3D CAD Models
    • Design and develop 3D CAD models for medical device components using SolidWorks.
  • Generating and Maintaining Accurate BOMs
    • Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) for project documentation.
  • Ensuring Compliance with Industry Standards
    • Maintain accurate Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards compliance for all design and documentation.
  • Project Documentation Management
    • Manage project documentation through a structured QMS platform.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in drafting machined, casted, sheet metal, or plastic molded components.
    • Proven expertise in SolidWorks for modeling complex 3D systems and drafting components.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T principles and standards.
    • Experience in generating and managing BOMs, Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), and project documentation through QMS platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with mechanical design for medical devices.
  • Familiarity with cable drawings and related specifications.
