About the Job
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled mechanical drafter to join KLM Careers as a key member of our team. With 5+ years of experience in mechanical drafting, you will be responsible for collaborating with Engineering and Quality teams to develop and manage documentation for a novel medical device. Your expertise in utilizing SolidWorks for modeling complex 3D systems and drafting components will be invaluable in this role. You will also have strong understanding of GD&T as per ASME Y14.5 and experience in generating and managing BOM structures, ECRs, and documentation through a QMS. Additionally, experience with mechanical design for medical devices is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to capture design outputs for a novel medical device
- Develop and manage documentation, including CAD models, fabrication drawings, procedures, BOMs, and specifications
- Build and manage accurate 3D CAD models of novel and complex medical devices
- Generate and manage fabrication drawings for all elements of the medical device
- Manage all documents accurately in a QMS

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical drafting
- Proficient in SolidWorks
- Familiarity with GD&T and document management systems
