Manager, Credit Card Analytics Specialist

The RoleWe're seeking a highly analytical Manager to join our Card Analytics team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to drive significant business results through ownership and improvement of our Valuations model. You'll have the chance to pull data, conduct deep analysis, and apply critical thinking skills to draw insights and leverage general business acumen to understand customer behavior.
As a key member of our team, you'll work with various partners to conduct ad-hoc analyses, including customer segmentation, competitive analysis, sensitivity analysis, and performance monitoring. You'll also have the opportunity to expand your competencies, grow your business and industry acumen, and demonstrate the ability to work on complex processes or projects across the end-to-end project cycle.
Key Responsibilities- Design, recommend, document, and execute the valuations model by extracting and analyzing historical customer performance data from multiple disparate systems.
- Utilize data query tools (e.g., R, SAS, SQL, MATLAB, Python) to inform Valuations curves.
- Develop alternative scenario generation to evaluate marginal approve/decline populations and inform decisions on expansion and contraction.
- Drive profitable business growth by developing strategy optimization frameworks with a full credit-cycle view.
- Implement Quality Control processes to ensure data accuracy.
- Continually enhance existing processes and reporting through automation, quality control, presentation, and insights.
- Effectively summarize and present results and insights to management.
We're looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree (Graduate Preferred) in a quantitative discipline, such as Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business Management, or Computer Science. 3-5 years of experience in complex, data-driven problem-solving is required. Strong SQL, SAS, and Excel skills are necessary, with experience with multiple types of relational databases, BI tools/platforms, and/or additional programming languages a plus.
Innovative and capable of developing a highly analytical approach to solving problems, you'll thrive in our fast-paced environment. Lending or consumer finance industry experience is preferred.
