Job Description

This senior leadership position is responsible for overseeing the management of business operations and resources of a given project portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in people management, project oversight, and sales enablement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage business operations and resources of a given project portfolio
  • Oversee people management and project oversight
  • Develop and implement sales enablement strategies
  • Accountable for fulfilling business goals and meeting budgets
  • Maintain project/portfolio profitability and quality of project delivery
  • Develop strategy and plans to implement operational policies and achieve portfolio performance
  • Responsible for solutions and pricing of proposals and supporting the sales process
  • Manage a significant and profitable revenue stream
  • May serve as advisor or project sponsor role for moderately complex engagements
Requirements
  • 10 years of experience relevant to the position, including 2 years of project or direct line management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles and successfully manage projects of increasing complexity
  • Comfortable working in a matrix management environment
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors
  • Product, technology, or industry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus
  • Selling skills preferred
  • Ability to travel as needed
