About the RoleAs Executive Director, you will be responsible for leading the community and its staff, supervising directly and indirectly all staff, and ensuring the success of the community in meeting financial and budgetary objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the community and its staff to achieve operational excellence.
- Direct the management team to ensure the success of the community.
- Participate in and be accountable for oversight of all marketing and sales activities and results.
- Operate the community in accordance with LCS policies and procedures and ensure the safety and security of residents and staff.
- Responsibility for overall sales and occupancy results.
- Understand and influence sales culture.
- Hold sales teams accountable to utilization of sales systems and standards.
- Lead and contribute sales, marketing, and business development strategy.
- BS or MS degree in business, healthcare, hotel/restaurant management, or a closely related area.
- Five or more years of experience in a leadership capacity in the senior living industry.
- Background in financial management, including budget preparation, cash flow management, and analysis of financial reports.
- Nursing home administrator license in the state of Illinois preferred.
- Ability to work effectively and diplomatically with a variety of publics.
